Ecological Impact Assessment & EIA

We undertake detailed Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA) and provide specialist input to the EIA process in accordance with the IEEM ‘Guidelines for Ecological Impact Assessment in the United Kingdom’.

Past project experience includes large-scale housing and mixed-use developments, road schemes and utility infrastructure projects including wind farms.

Strong consultation helps to ensure that screening and scoping processes set an appropriate trajectory for the EcIA, avoiding unnecessary costs whilst ensuring sufficient data is collected to adequately inform the assessment.

Extensive experience in ecological mitigation and close working with landscape architecture and masterplanning disciplines helps us to deliver coherent, cost-effective ecological solutions.

Our Ecology ES Chapters and Technical Appendices are presented in a clear, concise style, using digital plans that summarise survey findings and the key ecological considerations and mitigation measures.
