Protected species surveys

DGL Environment carry out protected species surveys throughout the UK including Wales, the Welsh Marches and West Midlands (including Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Cheshire, Staffordshire and Gloucestershire). Protected species surveys may be conducted to inform proposed developments, for conservation management objectives, or to monitor population change and distribution dynamics. In a development context, protected species surveys provide accurate baseline information that allows us to design out potential ecological constraints and impacts, receive timely planning consent and deliver more sustainable development with new opportunities for wildlife.
